From Heart Failure at 53 to Cholesterol Levels of a 40 Year Old at 60!

Off All Medication, Down 30lbs and 4 Sizes at 60

After heart failure and life support, No Fail Fat Burning turned Suzanne's life around.

"Five years ago I suffered heart failure, 9 days on life support and a triple bypass.... I started [No Fail Fat Burning for Women] June 17th 2015 and have not looked back since. 10 months later I am off ALL medication, 30 lbs, 4 sizes down and cholesterol levels that would make a 40 year old envious. I turn 60 in 6 months!" - Suzanne Marcoux, March 11, 2016
This is why we do it.
I rarely read reviews. But, in an effort to make the material available to all women we decided to make the Kindle version free for as long as Amazon will let us.... that's til July 31, 2016.

It's women like Suzanne that make the time, effort and personal cost of organically spreading the word about how women can hack their health and take it into their own hands worth sacrificing free time. This made my YEAR. Congratulations, Suzanne. I am overjoyed for you. Thank you so much for sharing your story and comeback with us. THANK YOU. I am sure you are saving another woman's life by doing so.

Beginning today (July 27, 2016) No Fail Fat Burning for Women is *FREE* on Kindle for FIVE days! Why? Because of stories like Suzanne's Amazon review above. If we could give it away for longer -- or make the price any lower on paperback -- we would.

We want to empower every woman to regain her life and her health!

Don't Be the Hester Prynne of Scale Weight aka Wouldn't you rather drop a dress size than scale numbers?

Hester didn't care about scale weight. She went by how tight her bonnet was!

Tenth grade lit quiz time!

Q: What did the "A" on the blouse of Hester Prynne, protagonist of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter, stand for?

A: Was it:

A. Adulterer?
B. Able?
C. Ass-Backward?

If Hester authored some of the emails we received this week, the answer would be C. Ass-Backward.

Why?

My guess is that it's getting warmer outside. Beach and bikini time is on the horizon. These emails contain -verbatim - stuff like this:

I feel so great on the No Fail Fat Burning For Women protocol! I've dropped two jean sizes! I'm starting to see abs! My sleep is deep and restful! My acne is gone! But what am I doing wrong because I step on the scale and it says I've only lost a pound in three weeks. I'm ready to give up! Why isn't it working?
Sincerely,
Ass-Backward Hester Prynne
Dear Ass-Backward:

First, what you're doing wrong is worrying about a number that means nothing while taking a giant steaming crap on incredible progress; simple, smart science; and reaping the rewards of solid work.

Would you rather have a low scale number but still be in the jeans that are now two sizes too big?

Would you rather be on the beach cracking foxy in that new bikini or walk around with nothing to show but an arbitrary weight scale number hanging on your neck like some misguided, metabolically deranged Flavor Flav?

Second, please read this blog post about body composition vs. scale weight vs. body fat percentage.

Third, please re-read Chapter Two: Screw the Scale & Eat Your Ass Off of No Fail Fat Burning For Women. Let me highlight some key ideas (with Skye's permission):

"THE SCALE.
I'd take 137lbs over 123lbs any day.
Screw it. Numbers don't mean much. Did you poop this morning? Well, there's a couple pounds lost.
Did you NOT poop this morning? There's a couple pounds you're still hauling around. Where are you in your menstrual cycle? Did you drink a bunch of water or shower before weighing? That will cause flux in scale numbers. So will weighing yourself at different times of the day.
Becoming obsessed with the scale is only going to be a dangerous mind game. It's going to be you screwing you. My weight doesn't matter to me as much as body fat percentage anyway because I know I'm gaining lean muscle mass. It weighs more but burns more fat even in a sedentary state. Ever seen five pounds of fat next to five pounds of muscle?
Five pounds of fat. Five pounds of muscle.
The five pound muscle is much smaller than the five pounds of fat yet they weigh the same. You want more muscle. And no, you won't turn into SheHulk. You'll be toned, shapely and strong."
So, if your goal is a lower scale number for the sake of numbers, take apart your scale and super glue whatever number you want into the display window and then brag about it to those from whom you need validation.

If you want to feel confident in your skin and clothes, come off the meds, clear up your skin, sleep soundly at night and enjoy this journey on Earth, step off the scale and stick with the protocol.

Remember: you're not a damsel in distress. You're the heroine of your story.

Yours in resilience, strength and sticks of butter!
Much aloha,
Michelle

Lost 14 Pounds in Three Weeks, When to Take Vitamins, Calorie Counting, Pea Protein

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=RSQ4ASNFXFZ8A

Easily tweaked for No Fail Fat Burning
Aloha, fat burning mamas! I'm sitting here snarfing down some Smashed Chicken Paillards from Michelle Tam's Nom Nom Paleo cookbook along with a fermented beet and cucumber salad I had sitting around. Not all the recipes in the book fit the No Fail Fat Burning For Women protocol but they're easily tweaked. She has a lot of Whole 30 recipes on her website, too.

Okay, let's kick this off with an email that made us fist pump!

Q: I bought and read Skye's awesome book about three weeks ago. I'm now 20 days into my new lifestyle. I'm down 14 pounds and feel awesome! Loads of energy, happy, satiated, the works. I have to admit my skepticism in the beginning. The book is basically the opposite of everything I've ever been told (butter, eggs, red meat are bad, low fat is good, on and on). But, none of those other ways ever worked and now I'm believer. I've been following the plan 100% and couldn't be happier at how simple and satisfying it is.

My question is about the suggested supplements. I am taking the recommended K2, D3, Primal Defense Ultra, and Vitamin C. I also stir some collagen into my BP coffee.

I've been taking my supplements in the mornings but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take them on an empty stomach, with/without water or if I can just take them when I drink my Bulletproof coffee? Thank you for saving my life!

Fat Soluble Vitamins
A: First, way to take control, take the leap and conquer fear of change and the chorus of the masses. I'm high-fiving you from over here. Made my day to hear your progress! Please keep us posted on more. You are exactly why we do this.

The supplements you mention (outside of Vitamin C and the Garden of Life Primal Defense ULTRA) are fat soluble vitamins. The fat soluble vitamins are soluble in lipids. They're stored in the liver and adipose (fat) tissue. It's a great idea to take them with healthy fats like your butter coffee first thing in the morning. You may want to hold Vitamin C off til lunch or another meal as it sometimes can upset people's stomachs. See how it works for you. People can be deficient in  fat soluble vitamins if their fat intake is too low or if their fat absorption is compromised.

Also, if you miss your D3 in the morning, skip it til the next day. It's the sunshine vitamin for a reason. You don't want to risk being up all night if you take it later in the day. Get your blood panels done every now and again to check your levels and adjust dosage accordingly.

Thanks for the inspiration and keep it up! You're awesome.

Q: Hi, I am glad to find your book and your fan page. I am starting the program since yesterday, but then I realized that my total carb intake was around 50g ~ 60g. In your book, it says "take less than 30g of carbs daily". Do you mean by Total Carb or Net Carb? And also, you didn't mention anything about specific daily caloric intake... I have been eating like 2500kcal since on this ... Do I need to restrict calories during those 10 days? Thanks!

A: Hi there. Congrats on starting this journey and I wish you the best of success! I don't know your activity level or goals, but keep in mind the protocol is a basic blueprint. Every woman is unique and once she's adhered to the protocol and committed to it over time, she will learn to tweak it to serve her goals and needs. 30g of net carbs is the suggestion on low carb days for women looking to burn significant amounts of body fat. If you are extremely active, lift heavy weights, etc, this may  not be enough carbs for you.

Actually, the whole introductory chapter talks about calories. Please re-read it to find your answer. One of the main tenets of this protocol is there is no calorie counting whatsoever. It's BS. Page five specifically goes into why. We need to learn to listen to our bodies and how they respond to what we feed them. BMI, calories, it's BS.  Keep us posted on your progress.

Q: What do you think of pea protein?

A: Peas are legumes. Vegetable proteins are incomplete and a processed legume seed protein on top of it? Nope. If you read the book and are following the protocol as prescribed, then you know that legumes contain anti-nutrients (not as severe as some others but why bother?). They still contain phytate, saponins and PSL. These are potentiators of abnormal and disruptive physiological function, including gastrointestinal. Since a huge chunk of the No Fail Fat Burning protocol involves empowering and healing your gut, I don't recommend it.

Like other vegetable proteins, pea protein harbors low concentrations of essential amino acids methionine and cystine. Of course, it's your body and health. If you're going to attempt the protocol, commit to it as prescribed. Then, after a few months, experiment with what works best for you. But vegetable proteins, veganism, vegetarianism (sans lacto-ovo-pescatarian vegetarianism) are absolutely not part of the protocol as explained in Chapter Three of No Fail Fat Burning for Women. Please re-read page 37: "What about vegetarianism/veganism?" I have nothing against vegetarianism/veganism as we've tried both. They do not work for Skye or me biologically and the science of the No Fail Fat Burning protocol isn't built around supporting vegetable based diets.

IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN/VEGAN

In Tim Ferriss's The 4-Hour Body, check out "Meatless Machine" in the appendices. With proper, professional nutritional guidance and a focus on what needs to be added -- not what's being excluded -- athletic performance appears to be sustainable for the men in the study.

That's all for today, ladies! Have questions (that aren't already answered in the book)? Email: burnbodyfatforwomen@gmail.com.

It's a carb backload night for me tonight, so it's gonna get very unladylike in here in a few hours! Hashbrowns, potato lyonnaise and pork sausage, over easy eggs.........

Your actions and choices reveal your priorities. Be the hero of your story. Nobody else gets to play that role but you.
